KETOTIFENO

Ketotifen has been used as oral prophylactic treatment for bronchial asthma of all types (extrinsic, intrinsic, mixed, nocturnal, exercise-induced asthma, aspirin-induced asthma). It is not effective in suppressing bronchial asthma crises once established.
It is also used for the prophylaxis and treatment of multisystemic allergic disorders; acute and chronic urticaria; atopic dermatitis; allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis (hay fever) in children and adults.
It is effective in the treatment of dermatographism, as well as cholinergic urticaria.
